Born in Lausanne in 1991, Céline Dondénaz is graduated from ECAL/University of Art and Design of Lausanne in the Visual Communication department, major in Filmmaking. She has been drawing since she could hold a pencil, and since then she has cultivated a love for story telling, which has grown into a passion for movie making. Fascinated by the issues related to youth and family conflicts, she is constantly questioning the complexity of human relationships. In parallel to the development of her first feature film, she uses analog photography to create in a more spontaneous way and draws her inspiration as much from the people she meets, the environnements she frequents, as well as from the contemporary issues that trigger her.
